Nonbinding plain-language summary — the Terms and checkout disclosure control

Plans and billing

  • Individual Free: $0; no payment method required.
  • Individual Builder: $19 USD per month plus applicable tax.
  • Individual Pro: $39 USD per month plus applicable tax.
  • No annual plan is offered for the initial launch.

Before you buy, checkout will show the exact plan, price, currency, billing frequency, that the first charge occurs when Stripe checkout is completed, the provider-displayed billing-cycle date and applicable month-end adjustment, included limits, cancellation method, and refund policy beside the purchase action. Stripe will show applicable tax and the final total before confirmation.

Recurring authorization

Paid plans renew monthly until canceled. You must separately and affirmatively consent to recurring billing before Stripe collects payment information. This consent is separate from acceptance of the Terms. HardwareHub will retain the plan, price, versioned terms, timestamp, and subscription-consent record for at least three years or one year after the subscription ends, whichever is longer. HardwareHub will provide an electronic acknowledgment containing the exact accepted plan, price, billing frequency, renewal terms, cancellation policy and method, refund rule, legal versions, and order identifier in a form you can save or print.

Stripe processes payment credentials. HardwareHub receives billing identifiers and status but not the full card number or card security code.

Cancel online

You can open the Stripe-hosted customer portal from Workbench and cancel without contacting support. If you cannot access the portal or account email, contact contact@hardwarehub.io; after reasonable alternative identity verification, we will process the cancellation without requiring portal access. A survey or retention offer is optional and will not be required to finish cancellation.

Unless checkout clearly states otherwise, cancellation stops the next renewal and paid access continues through the current paid period. HardwareHub will provide an on-screen or email confirmation. Canceling a subscription does not delete the Workbench account or existing content.

Refunds

Monthly charges are not partially refundable solely because a user stops using the Service before the end of the period. HardwareHub will correct duplicate or erroneous charges, provide refunds required by law, honor an express promotion, and refund the unused prepaid portion if HardwareHub permanently discontinues a paid Service during the paid period.

This policy does not waive chargeback rights or other rights that cannot legally be waived.

Changes, upgrades, and downgrades

Self-service switching directly between Builder and Pro is not offered at launch. While a paid subscription is active, Workbench will expose subscription management and cancellation and will reject a second paid checkout. A user may cancel and retain paid access through the current paid period; after the account returns to its nonpaid state, the user may separately purchase another available paid plan.

A downgrade may stop new paid-only projects, uploads, or other writes after the paid period. Existing content remains accessible for reasonable viewing, export, and download, subject to security and legal constraints. If stored content exceeds the lower limit, the notice, download, and cure process in the Terms applies.

HardwareHub will give clear, retainable notice of a paid-plan fee change at least 15 and not more than 30 days before the change takes effect, unless another applicable law requires a different or longer period. The notice will identify the new price, effective renewal, and online cancellation method. A user may cancel before the new price takes effect.

HardwareHub will send an annual renewal reminder for a continuing paid subscription where required by applicable law. The reminder will identify the product, renewal frequency, current price, and online cancellation method.

Failed payments

Stripe may retry a failed payment. HardwareHub will email the account address before downgrading or suspending paid-only actions for persistent nonpayment, unless law allows immediate action to address fraud or abuse. Existing content is not automatically deleted.

Trials and promotions

A person may activate one 14-day, cardless Individual Pro preview for one Individual account if neither that person nor account has previously used the preview. It does not automatically become a paid subscription. At the end, the account returns to Free unless the user separately purchases a plan. Existing projects and files remain, while Free limits govern new activity. HardwareHub may deny or end duplicate, automated, or abusive previews.

Promotion codes are not accepted at launch. Any later trial or promotion will state its eligibility, end date, price, conversion behavior, cancellation method, and reminder terms before activation.

Taxes

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Applicable tax will be shown at checkout and collected where HardwareHub is registered and legally required to do so.
